WDP are seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic senior doctor, to be successful you will need to have an good understanding of medically assisted recovery, and the ability to work as part of the therapeutic community staff team. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and a passion for working creatively with complex clients. 

The post holder will contribute towards achieving compliance of essential standards relating to Care Quality Commission (CQC) and NICE guidelines. Ensuring the highest practice standards are met relating to risk assessments, recovery-care plans and medicines management.

The post holder will play a vital role in providing comprehensive assessment processes and will take the lead on medically assisted Recovery. This will entail being responsible for the initiation and implementation of treatment and detoxification programmes for clients suffering from dependency to opiates, alcohol, benzodiazepines and stimulants.

The post holder will receive supervision from the Medical Director. The post-holder will be expected to take responsibility for their own development, identifying personal training needs and participating in regular supervision and appraisal processes.
