Lead Nurse & Non Medical Prescriber (NMP), London and across WDP services
An exciting opportunity has arisen in WDP as we continue to develop and grow our clinical services. We are seeking to appoint a Lead Nurse who is also a Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) for the organisation who will work closely with the Medical Director and the Director of Quality and Compliance to ensure our clinical services operate safely and effectively. This role will provide clinical leadership to all nursing staff within the organisation and will have shared responsibility for progressing the revalidation process, ensuring all nursing practice is evidenced and recorded. In addition, you will be expected to deliver prescribing clinics for 2 days per week across specified services. This will be an exciting opportunity of both leadership and front-line practice, enabling the right candidate to develop their clinical leadership skills as well as maintaining their practice as an NMP.
This position will be instrumental in the development of future service implementations and be part of the internal governance structure advising on clinical guidelines, relevant legislation and best practice.
This is an organisational role so regular travel across service sites is to be expected.
