Sir Paul Smith has agreed to be the Patron of WDP

Westminster Drug Project (WDP) is delighted to announce that Sir Paul Smith has agreed to be the Patron of WDP.

The internationally recognised British designer was previously the Patron of Seventy4 Foundation, which recently merged with WDP.

Yasmin Batliwala, Chair of WDP, said: “We are delighted and honoured that Sir Paul Smith has agreed to become our Patron. He will be a source of huge inspiration and motivation for all users of our service who are attempting to triumph over adversity.

Education and training is an important part of the recovery journey and it is Sir Paul Smith’s lateral thinking and determination that have enabled him to build his global fashion business from nothing and to become one of Britain’s most inspirational business leaders.”

Sir Paul Smith commented: “I am delighted to be the Patron of WDP. I enjoy helping and encouraging people and WDP helps thousands of people every year to overcome drug and alcohol addiction and transform their opportunities.
