Administrator – Cheshire West and Chester

WDP has been providing drug and alcohol services in Cheshire West and Chester since 1 April 2019. We actively promote recovery and work with individuals, those affected by someone else’s substance misuse, and the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of residents.
Our specialist team includes substance misuse workers, doctors and nurses, as well as volunteers and peer mentors. Together we offer a wide range of pharmacological, psychosocial and recovery-orientated interventions that support individuals and their families who wish to receive advice, assessment and treatment for their drug and/or alcohol problems.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Administrator to join our team. To be successful you will need to demonstrate the ability to prioritise and organise your workload and provide a high standard of customer service. You will also need to demonstrate, in addition to a strong team ethic, excellent communication, IT and organisational skills, and previous experience of having worked within a diverse role.
An empathetic and non-judgmental approach is imperative as this varied role will give you exposure to a vast array of sensitive data. Additionally, you will also need to display a proactive attitude towards promoting the services we offer and take full ownership of all administrative responsibilities in order to ensure that the service can function to its optimum.
The successful candidate should be an organised individual with excellent communication skills who is able to multi-task and prioritise whilst managing a busy office environment.
- Salary band of £20,000 - £22,000
- Permanent contract
- 37.5 hours per week
WDP Cheshire West and Chester works across Chester, Ellesmere Port and Northwich. There is an expectation for the successful candidate to be able to work across these sites if required
