IT Support Officer, London- Permanent x 1 / Fixed Term x 1 Opportunity until August 2020

An opportunity has arisen to join WDP’s IT team as an IT Support Officer. This diverse and exciting role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop and enhance their knowledge and skills. You will become involved in a broad range of activities and tasks to ensure the efficient maintenance of IT services across the organisation.
This role will provide 1st/2nd and 3rd line IT support including project coordination and IT administration.
The ideal person will have experience of working in an IT environment and able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise and organise their workload. The successful candidate will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, requiring a personable and accessible approach to communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships.
Working knowledge of Windows RDS environment, ITIL and project management qualifications are desirable.
The role will provide IT support to all WDP staff and volunteers, including the following:
- Maintain the security and efficiency of WDP’s IT and telephone systems
- Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support
- Setting up new PCs/laptops and peripherals
- Setting up new users and managing leavers
- Software installations
- Network management
- Permanent x 1 / Fixed Term x 1 Opportunity until August 2020
- 37.5 hours per week
- Salary band of £25,000 to £32,000 per annum
Our central office at St James’s Park, with travel to other WDP locations being required as part of the role.
